Join Nature Foundation SA for the national ALCA Private Land Conservation Conference (PLC19) in Adelaide!
In the last 20 years private protected areas in Australia have grown from thousands to millions of hectares, with just under nine million hectares now protected under covenants such as heritage agreements, or as reserves.
PLC19 will bring together conservation professionals, scientists, land managers, businesses, indigenous organisations, academics and many others who are helping grow Australia’s private protected areas from thousands to millions of hectares.
It provides an important opportunity to share information, exchange ideas, discuss new research and initiatives, and explore partnerships and avenues to work together for conservation on private land.
We are currently finalising an exciting and thought-provoking program addressing the 2019 theme 'Rising to the Challenge'.
Presentations will focus on work that is transforming our sector and delegates will leave energised and informed to work towards solving conservation’s most pressing problems.
Registrations opening soon - stay tuned for further details:
